Using Remote Desktop from anywhere
Runetale uses the modern VPN protocol, WireGuard. Unlike OpenVPN, it does not require a VPN Gateway and eliminates the client-server concept, instead enabling a direct network connection between peers (peer-to-peer).
Previously, using remote desktop required dedicated software installation and complex device setup. Runetale takes advantage of its point-to-point connectivity and supports client-to-client communication by default.
It means that users can directly access their own laptop left at their office from anywhere, such as a hotel or cafe during a business trip.
In general, VPNs are required to use remote desktop in your company. However, the combination of low performance of RDP (the protocol used to achieve remote desktop) and traditional VPN can lead to slow network speeds, resulting in unstable experiences.
